Complaints Access & Breaches

During the course of the tenancy, you may need to communicate with your tenant for some reason or other. You may need to notify them that you need to gain access to the premises or even that they have breached a term of your tenancy agreement. In any event, the first port of call is always to issue the tenant with a letter drawing there attention to the fact that there has been a breach or whatever else you may wish to convey.

If you are dealing with a breach of the tenancy, the hope is that the tenant will remedy the breach in question. If not it may be necessary to go to the next stage which is issuing a Section 8 Notice for breach of the tenancy. However, you should aim to resolve the problem with a letter first and not take further action against your tenant until they ignore our requests. Choose from the selection of letters below:
